Mykel aka Irish singer, song writer and producer Michael Fitzpatrick, did not start exploring music until he was 29; prior to that he was a director of an engineering firm. The surprising result of his first attempt at music is amazing and belongs to someone who has been experimenting with music their entire lives. His debut single ‘Sweet Valentine’, is a smooth sexy blend of electronic and pop mixed with R&B. The lyrics explore everything that comes with finding that Sweet Valentine from love and desire to the fear of loss, it is all mixed together with a wave of cinematic electronic pop.
2013 is shaping up to Mykel's year to own it, starting with the release of Sweet Valentine , along with an upcoming five track EP Hold On which will be released later on in the year(stay tuned for more details). Mykel is most definitely someone to keep your eye and more importantly ear on in 2013.
